Lost in Translation: When Holy Writ
Becomes Wholly Wrong
with Dr. Walter Ziffer
Translating biblical texts is a difficult undertaking. When an ancient Hebrew idiom is no longer understood and is translated verbatim into English, this results in a passage we would rather not read in a worship service.

This project is made possible by a grant from the North Carolina Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit and affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
